Garlic Noodles

Simple & satisfying pasta dish for one!

INGREDIENTS

  • SAMABILA Chicken Instant Ramen Seasoning-1/2 Tbsp 
  • Spaghetti - 1 Handful
  • Butter - 1 Tbsp
  • Minced Garlic - 1 Tbsp
  • Reserve Pasta Water - 1/4 cup

OPTIONAL GARNISH

  • Parsley / Green Onion 
  • Spaghetti - 1 Handful
  • Freshly Cracked Black Pepper

DIRECTIONS:

  • Cook spaghetti noodles to al dente. Set aside 1/4 cup pasta water before draining.
  • In a med-large pan, throw in 1 Tbsp butter over low heat.
  • Once butter starts bubbling, add 1 Tbsp minced garlic. Let it sizzle around the pan for about 15 seconds. Careful not to let it burn.
  • Sprinkle in 1/2 Tbsp of SAMABILA Chicken Ramen Seasoning Mix and give it a quick toss around the pan with the garlic and butter.
  • Add the noodles into pan. Pour in reserve pasta water and mix thoroughly. Cook for another minute.
  • Plate noodles and garnish 12with parsley/green onion, grated parmesan, and freshly cracked black pepper. Serve immediately and enjoy! 

Korean Ramen

Make it gluten free with brown rice ramen or spaghetti!

INGREDIENTS

  • SAMABILA Korean Instant Ramen Seasoning - 1.5 Tbsp
  • Ramen (any noodle of choice) 
  • Water - 1.75 Cups

OPTIONAL GARNISH

  • Egg - 1
  • Kombu (3-4 square pieces)
  • Dried Shiitake (3-4 small pieces) 
  • Chopped Green Onion 
  • Sliced Jalapeño / Chili Threads

DIRECTIONS:

  • Boil water and cook noodles as directed. About 1-2 minutes before completion, drain, and set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan, add 1.75 cups of water and a couple pieces of kombu + dried shiitake. Bring to a boil.
  • Start with 1 Tbsp of SAMABILA Korean Instant Ramen Seasoning. Taste as you go and add up to 1.5 Tbsp. Adjust with water if oversalted.
  •  Add noodles to saucepan. Drop in egg and simmer with noodles for 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn off heat and transfer to a bowl. Garnish to your liking and enjoy!

Korean Sesame Porridge 

Simple, delicious, & aromatic combination of flavors.

INGREDIENTS

  • SAMABILA Chicken Instant Ramen Seasoning - 1 tsp
  • Cooked Rice - 1 Bowl 
  • Water - 1.5 Cups 
  • Egg - 1 
  • Sesame Oil - 2 tsp

OPTIONAL GARNISH

  • Roasted Seaweed
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Chopped Green Onion 

DIRECTIONS:

  • Set aside a bowl of rice. Can be warm or cold. 
  • In a separate bowl, crack an egg and whisk thoroughly. Set aside.
  • In a saucepan, bring 1.5 cups water to a boil.
  • Add rice and 1 tsp of SAMABILA Chicken Instant Ramen Seasoning to saucepan. Over medium-low heat, simmer and stir until rice has absorbed most of the water. Should be a thick, porridge consistency.
  • Taste and adjust with additional SAMABILA seasoning if a more savory flavor is desired.
  • Pour in whisked egg and 1 tsp of sesame oil over rice mixture. Fold in with rice and allow egg to cook.
  • Take off the heat and transfer to a bowl. Garnish with remaining sesame oil and sesame seeds. Top it off with roasted seaweed and chopped green onion. Enjoy!
